| With the lowest availability rate of all submarkets, space continues to be tight in GTA North, with asking rents for class “A” and “B” space the highest relative to any other suburban areas. Statistically, asking rents on available space have decreased by 4.3% over the last twelve months. This is mainly due to a large component of currently available space being in the “B” and “C” classes. Demand is anticipated to remain healthy, particularly in the North Yonge corridor. The availability is expected to remain low through 2008 with a little relief being derived from the anticipated completions of new supply. | |
